Vertica

Before connecting to a Vertica database, you need to whitelist a set of IP addresses on your database server for the specific port you wish to use. To view the complete list of IP addresses, refer to Whitelisting IP Addresses for Database Connectors.

1. Click Self Service.
2. Click Connect.

   Search Vertica.
4. Click Vertica.

   Enter the required information.
6. Click Test Connection.

   On a successful connection, click Next

   Click the check box(es) to Select Tables.
9. Click the check box(es) to select columns.
10. Click preview.
11. Click Save.

    Name the dataset
13. Click OK.

Note: Once you have chosen the tables needed to calculate the KPI for analysis requirements and saved the dataset, you can create the business model and dashboard. Instructions are available in the Self-Service section of the Lumenore User Manual.
