Chart embedding
Embedding allows you to seamlessly and cohesively integrate content or components from one application or website into another seamlessly and cohesively.
In Lumenore, embedding involves integrating dashboards or charts into your day-to-day tools, external systems or third-party applications, so the users can see and interact with data without switching to a separate BI tool, making data and insights accessible to a broader audience.
Key Benefits of embedding:
- Seamless Integration: Embedding enables the seamless integration of external content or features into an existing application or website, creating a unified user experience.
- Real-time Data: It allows users to access and interact with real-time data and insights from the embedded source, ensuring they always have the latest information at their fingertips.
- Consistency: Embedded content retains the look and feel of the host application, maintaining a consistent user interface.
The Embed feature empowers users to independently share charts and metrics by generating a dynamic hyperlink that can be shared with their organization’s team members, enabling them to view the charts directly on their website.
Below are three types of Embed Type:
- Public: This feature allows unrestricted access to the KPI without any authentication.
- Private with SSO: This feature enables Single Sign-On (SSO) access to your KPI. To access KPI, user must have an account created. This means that the user’s account must be linked to a specific domain or email address, for example, abc.xyz@company.com, where “ABC.xyz” represents the user’s unique identity and “@company.com” signifies the domain associated with the organization.
- Private: This option permits users to view the KPI with Lumenore access only.
Steps to use embedding:
- Click on the three dots and select “Embed” from the more options.
- Choose the embed type.
- After Selecting the Embed type, you can customize user interactions by granting specific permissions using advanced options, such as enabling export, changing chart types, etc. The permissions granted to viewers align with your advanced options.
- Click “Generate Embed Link” to create the shareable link.
- Now, “Copy” the generated link.
- Paste and share the link as needed.
