New connection

The new connection option allows users to import data from various connectors. The connections section empowers you to establish connections with databases and allows you to create custom connections that can be used in various graphs.

How to create a new connection?

• Simply click on the newly created connection under connections.
• Search and choose from any database, such as Lumenore, MySQL, etc.
• To connect to the database, complete all the fields.
• Use the Test Connection button to verify the connection.
• Then select Add a Connection.
• The connections panel ought to add your connection.
• Additionally, you can edit and delete connections from the tree.

Data Magnet primarily supports three types of connections:

• RDBMS Connections: This type facilitates RDMS or API-based connections, such as MySQL and Vertica.
• OAuth Connection: OAuth Connections provide options for sources that necessitate OAuth flow for connection. Examples include Google Drive and One Drive.
• File Format Connection: This connection type enables interaction with the local file system. XML is an example of a supported file format.
