Selector

The Selector function allows you to choose multiple columns that you need for the subsequent ETL process. You can either include a new column or remove a column that has already been selected.

How to use Selector?

Step 1: Join the selector and open it.

Step 2: All column names from the source will be displayed. The user can rename columns and select the appropriate data types.

Step 3: To preview specific columns in the output, the user can check the corresponding boxes highlighted in blue.

For example:

• Renamed “Order_Date” to “Order Date”, “Ship_Date” to “Ship Date”, and “Ship_Mode” to “Mode of Shipment.”
• To display only the renamed columns in the preview, we selected their corresponding checkboxes highlighted in blue.
